Red Deer & Calgary Newborn & Baby Photographer | Suzanne Taylor Photography

Suzanne Taylor Photography has been perfecting the Art of Newborn Photography in Red Deer and Calgary for several years.   The philosophy behind every newborn photography portrait created is that my job is to make a Fine Art and capture heirloom quality images out of your greatest masterpiece.  Whether it be a single newborn, twins, triplets or more – Suzanne Taylor Photography has extensive experience with newborns and knows how to safely create images that capture their essence without the use of props, backdrops or any other distractions that take away from your beautiful newly created life.

On-Location Newborn Photographer in Red Deer and Calgary, Alberta

Red Deer and Calgary newborn photographer, Suzanne Taylor, practices a very unique and personal newborn photographic experience for her customers.  All of Suzanne Taylor Photography’s newborn images are taken in YOUR home where just a small space is required for all of the images you see online.  Having a Red Deer and Calgary newborn photographer come to you to photograph your newborn baby allows you to relax, heal and be comfortable during your newborn session.  Many doctors recommend not taking your newborn baby out of your home for the first few weeks – especially in the Fall and Winter months and by coming to your home the risk of exposing your newborn to the germs, pollution and environment on the way to a photography session is greatly reduced.

Your Comfort is Important to Me

Your comfort is also of the utmost of importance for Suzanne Taylor Photography because whether you had a vaginal birth or a C-Section, you need time to heal.  Having the opportunity to watch your newborn session take place from the comfort of your favourite chair or even bed is a beautiful way to experience this very special photographic event.  Your newborn will only be a newborn for a week or two before they graduate into ‘baby’ and this Red Deer and Calgary newborn photographer wants you to enjoy every moment of it from the planning to the event to the courteous and timely service you should expect from any professional.

Red Deer and Calgary Newborn Photographer Safety Standards

An area often overlooked by new parents because let’s face it – you have a newborn at home or expecting one very soon – is that of safety.  Many people assume that any Red Deer or Calgary newborn photographer is a professional and know how to photograph their precious brand new miracle safely.  The reality is that the photography market in Alberta is entirely saturated and flooded with ‘professional’ photographers – many of which equate the word ‘professional’ with the concept of ‘I charge people, and that makes me a professional photographer.’  A photographer does not become a professional because they charge for services.  A professional photographer becomes an expert after they build a good customer base, have perfected their craft (because would you go to an amateur dentist?), belong to a professional organization (in good standing) and ensure that their practices are safe and ethical.

Working with newborn, baby or child multiples is a task that I do not take lightly – nor should it be by anyone. I come with the experience of working with multiples (many families over the past several years – not just my triplets), and for many photographers, multiples sound easy but when it comes to the actual session, very few have the skill level to create and provide you with the images that are not only beautiful but also safe. I have seen and heard horror stories of things that have gone wrong with multiples, and I want to assure you that you are aware that the skill level involved is one that your photographer possesses.

I am also a member in good standing of the NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers).  Please visit the link to learn more about the organization.
